Nahtlos AG, a spinoff from the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (Empa), was co-founded by Michel Schmid and José Näf. The company's proprietary textile electrode technology originated from multiple Empa research initiatives and has since been advanced by Nahtlos.
